Well, I feel a bit better today than I did yesterday. Not quite so tired, although I do have a bit of a headache. And for the most part I have shaken off the last 2 phone calls from yesterday by the woman who said I was the rudest person she had ever had the misfortune to talk to. Decided I wasn't the one who was rude & that she started the conversations with a chip on her shoulder.

My glass of Riverboat Red wine helped last night, I am sure. A & J brought it to me last week and I really like it. A & I attended a couple of wine tastings while on our cruise last August and 1 thing we discovered is that I don't care for red wines mostly because I like my wine to be cold, rather than room temperature. This is a sweet red wine that is created to be able to serve it cold!

I think I have mentioned before that I detest mint flavors. Peppermint is the worst for me. I do like Wintergreen and will tolerate spearmint in gum flavors, but other mints I just almost shudder at the taste of them. So last week I decided to look online for a toothpaste that not only is for sensitive teeth, but that also wasn't mint flavored. Most sensitive teeth toothpastes on the market don't seem to have any other flavor than mint - even when they have a red streak across the label, etc. But in searching online, I found that Crest Pro Health is for sensitive teeth and that they have a cinnamon flavored version. So I bought a tube and it really isn't mint flavored! So I am a happy woman on that aspect of things!

We have rolled up part of our plastic wall here at work! Last May we lost the roof of our former office building in a storm. The aftermath of the rain that followed the winds was that the ceilings & all fell in, so rather than trying to repair that building, the owners started searching for a new building. We spent the summer working out of a temporary office space, but packing orders in the warehouse section of the old building. Then in September we moved into the new building. I personally like it better here - everything is on 1 floor except for the executive offices, but a drawback is that when they were going to have heat pumps installed to keep from having to fire up the furnace that will heat all 4 floors of the building to the tune of $6,000 a month (we are only using 2 floors at the moment), they were told they needed to have a well put in rather than connecting it to the city sewer. So for this past winter, we have run electric heaters near our desks and had a huge sheet of plastic curtaining off the 2 downstairs offices from the warehouse section so that we could heat just those offices. Well, we rolled up 1 side of it and can now see outside again! It is wonderful to be able to see who is at the door ringing the buzzer before we head out to answer it, etc. I was thinking that to try to stay prepared for next winter, we could roll the "walls" up and fasten them with velcro, but S says his plan is to take the plastic down entirely after we are sure we won't need it any longer for this year.

I had my 6 month dental cleaning this morning and this afternoon, I have an appointment to give blood. Didn't remember about the dental appointment when I arranged the blood donation, but oh well - it will work out. It just will be a long day today.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful spring day! Our temperature here is only 50 to far today, but the wind is still blowing quite strongly. The forecast says that it should get down to the high 40's by the weekend, with chances of rain - which we need. I will have the oldest of our 2 granddaughters this weekend for her visit and kind of hope if it is in the 40's or below, that she wants to do something that involves staying warm. I know that when I am tired, I tend to be really cold, but right now, I am chilly!
