Fire Downtown - originally posted 3/25/09

I just got a text from R (office manager / wife of owner / co-owner) of our company. They were called at about 2 am with news that a fire started 2-3 doors down from our office and the alarms were going off in our office. We know the fire got to the building right next door to our office & there was at least smoke in ours. The reports seem to say that it was contained about 4:15 this morning, so we will see how things are when I get there. She is leaving for Corpus Christi this morning to be with her parents while they both have surgeries - so won't be there.

Will update later - not sure if we will have internet, electric, phones or what.
