Well another blogger that I have started following is passing out awards Smoking Needles. So here I go with mine.
I'm supposed to tell you 7 things about me and nominate 7 others to do the same. But I only have 5 followers currently & hate to have to chose, I will give it to you all. But like before, I am not sure I can tell you 7 things that at least some of you don't already know about me.
1. Even though I was born in 1959, I was never allowed to play music from my teen years & such, so my favorites are from the previous generation - my mother's. The 1950's, early 1960's rock & roll, country (including current), Elvis, The Four Tops, The Everly Brothers, etc.
2. I never went to a dance while in school. So when J asked me to dance at his sister T's wedding in 2004, that was the very 1st time I had ever danced with anyone. My dh was the 2nd person I ever danced with & I have only ever danced 3 times in my life.
3. I once wanted to grow up & marry Elvis!
4. I skipped 1 class while in Jr. High for 1 week by sitting in the bathroom on the toilet. I was having some issues with several people in the class making fun of me & picking on me, but after 1 girl threw a huge textbook at me & hit me in the head with it, I tried to go to the classroom next door where the instructor had gone. But I couldn't get the door to open. So for a week, I just skipped that class.
5. I played the viola in 5th & part of 6th grades.
6. I hate watching sports, unless my kids or grandkids are involved.
7. I hate broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus, turnips, mayonnaise, gravies & ranch dressing.
